2013-03-29 - Children's Playgrounds

Youth Park. In 1984, a group of sculptors, led by N. Nasvytis and Alytus main designer A. Stankevičius, created the first plastic metal sculpture composition in Lithuania, which bright colors are giving a distinctive face to Youth park and have both decorative and functional purposes. Sculptures invite to enjoy themselves, and develop aesthetic taste, imagination and children - to play.
In 1993 Youth park was declared as a monument of local art.
Park is adapted for cultural, public events, and relaxation. Park is equipped with children's playgrounds, chess, sports, skateboarding - roller pitches, marked bicycle lanes.



In Resort Park, children can play and get to know the forest life by walking the attractions path which is full of wooden sculptures created according to Hans Andersen Prize laureate Anzelmas Matutis who was living in Alytus and created a  fairytale for children 'Drevinukas'. In addition, near the park is poet's memorial museum. The Resort park is equipped with children's playground, benches.



In Daugai Market's square is a playground where children can have fun.
